Agenda for 2/10 Technology Meeting:

1.  Update from Phil -

Phil reported that the tech plan for 3 years is almost done and it will be going to the steering committee on Thursday. 

The middle school's tech budget was cut to 42,000. We will need to discuss our current rotation of computers in our future plan. Phil also mentioned that we need to think about any pc's that we will need in the coming year. If we don't order pc's this year then we can't order any during the school year because of the new operating system that our network can't support.  Our network needs to be upgraded and will be delayed a year. The ms will only have 25 ip's to be used for new computers until the network is upgraded.

2.  Prioritize tech purchases to $42,000-

3.  Cart/Lab schedule for high demand time discussion followed on how to come up with a plan so that all grade levels have access to the computer carts and lab. We need to come up with a plan...After a long discussion on how we can manage  the carts and lab so that everyone can meet their curriculum responsibilities, it was decided that everyone needs to be considerate and to please not schedule carts for many days in advance or for a long periods of time. We are still looking for a plan.
